The Emma Gala is the Finnish equivalent of the Grammy Awards. So happy and proud of this!
Music video for Mänty is now released!
“Mänty” is a collaboration between me and acclaimed audiovisual visionaries, visual artist Vappu Rossi and director Pete Veijalainen, two award-winning professionals whose work combines hand-crafted visual poetry with cutting-edge animation.
I'm simply amazed by Vappu and Pete’s extraordinary imagination and artistic talent. It was pure joy to get to work with them!

VUORI, my third solo album is now released
VUORI is a collaboration with the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra, harpist Laura Hynninen, and percussionist Samuli Kosminen. I have made all the lyrics, compositions and arrangements.
The album has received an overwhelmingly positive response from the media. Finnish radio hosts have described VUORI in YLE’s music programmes with words such as:

Katrina, the new musical
I composed a musical. Musical Katrina premiered in Helsinki City Theaters Swedish speaking theatre Lilla teatern in January 31st 2024. Katrina is based on a book made by Finnish author Sally Salminen.
Katrina has garnered rave reviews from both critics and audiences. Helsingin Sanomat described the musical as “a powerful and moving reinterpretation of the classic novel,” while Hufvudstadsbladet praised its music for its “strong originality and emotionally engaging arc.” The newspaper Keski-Pohjanmaa characterized the production as “a profoundly affecting bullseye.” Feedback emphasized the emotional impact of the music and the exceptionally high artistic level of the entire creative team, both on stage and behind the scenes. In addition to Helsinki, Katrina was performed to full houses at Åbo Svenska Teater and Wasa Teatern.

Solo album Älä pelkää
I'm so happy about this. Älä pelkää (Don't Be Afraid) is inspired by Finnish pop-rock and bands, the music which I grew up to among all the other beautiful genres.
